Overview

zRev ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website zrev.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website. We are committed to handling your data with care and transparency.

By using this website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect two types of information:

• Usage data: automatically collected when you visit our site, including pages viewed, time spent, referring URLs, browser type, and device type. This is collected via Google Analytics.
• Company research: when you leave a work email through one of the free tools, we look up public information about the company behind that email domain (its website, what it does, its size and market) and keep a short summary next to your email so a first conversation can start informed. Personal email domains (Gmail, Outlook and similar) are never researched. You can ask us to delete the summary at any time.
• Contact information: if you reach out via email or book a call through Calendly, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. If you request a downloadable resource (such as our GTM due diligence checklist), we collect the email address you provide, together with the page it was submitted from, your country, and device type. We use it to follow up on that resource; we do not add you to a mailing list or share it with anyone. If you use the "Ask zRev" assistant on our site, we log the questions asked and answers given so we can review answer quality, together with the page you asked from, your country and region, your device type, the site that referred you, a random conversation identifier that lives only in your browser tab, and any rating you give an answer. We do not record your identity or IP address with these logs; please do not type personal information into the assistant. If you ask your AI agent to leave contact details through our MCP server, or ask the Leak Detector to email your diagnosis, we collect the email you provide for that reply only.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, payment information, or any data from minors under 13.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized data about your visit, including:

• Pages visited and time on site
• General geographic location (country/city level)
• Device and browser information
• Traffic source (how you found us)

This data is processed by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We have turned on Google signals. For visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have ads personalization switched on, Google may associate visit data with that account so that we receive aggregated reports such as age range, gender and interests. We never see who an individual visitor is. You can review and delete this data in My Activity and control ads personalization in your Google account settings.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity may collect the following data about your visit:

• Mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior
• Session recordings showing how you navigate pages
• Heatmap data aggregating where visitors focus attention
• Device, browser, and general location information

By using our website, you consent to Microsoft and zRev collecting and using this data. Microsoft may also use this data to improve its own products and services. This data is processed by Microsoft and is subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and local storage to operate. You can opt out of Clarity tracking by enabling a "Do Not Track" signal in your browser settings.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of our LinkedIn presence and advertising, and to understand how visitors who arrive from LinkedIn use our website. The Insight Tag may collect:

• The URL of the page you visit and the referring URL
• Your IP address, device, and browser characteristics
• Timestamp of your visit

This data is processed by LinkedIn and is subject to LinkedIn's Privacy Policy. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes through their LinkedIn ad settings.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and browser local storage for analytics and advertising measurement via Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. These are small files stored in your browser that help us understand how the site is used. They do not identify you personally.

The cookies and storage keys you may see, and who sets them:

• _ga, _ga_G-6XL28YHYTN (Google Analytics, up to 2 years): distinguishes visitors and sessions.
• _clck, _clsk (Microsoft Clarity, up to 1 year and 1 day): visitor and session identifiers for recordings and heatmaps.
• li_gc, lidc, bcookie, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory (LinkedIn, up to 2 years): consent state and advertising measurement.
• zrev-cookie-consent, zrev-theme, zrev-exit-seen, zrev-boot (zRev, local storage only, never sent anywhere): your cookie choice, light or dark theme, and whether you have already seen a one-time panel.

Visitors in the EU, UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway see a banner with Accept and Reject before any analytics loads; Reject is remembered and nothing loads on later visits. Elsewhere analytics loads on arrival. To decide where you are we read the country our infrastructure attaches to the request; your IP address is not sent to any third party for that purpose.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that doing so may affect your browsing experience on some websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Understand how our website is used and improve it
• Respond to inquiries and booking requests
• Communicate with prospective and current clients

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google Analytics: website usage analytics (Privacy Policy)
• Microsoft Clarity: session recordings and heatmaps (Privacy Statement)
• LinkedIn Insight Tag: advertising measurement and conversion tracking (Privacy Policy)
• Calendly: meeting scheduling (Privacy Policy)
• YouTube: embedded product videos, in privacy-enhanced mode; nothing loads from YouTube until you press play (Privacy Policy)
• Hosting, infrastructure and AI model providers: the website, the free tools and the assistant run on third-party cloud infrastructure and use third-party AI models to generate answers. These providers process requests on our behalf under their own privacy terms and do not receive anything beyond what is needed to serve the request. Details are available on request.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how your data is handled.

Browser Extension

Our browser extension shows how AI systems read the website you are looking at. It has one purpose and collects the minimum needed for it:

• What it sends: when you click the extension icon, the domain name of the current tab (for example, acme.com) is sent to our service to produce the report. Nothing else from the page, and nothing while you browse. It never sends page contents, form data, cookies, or your browsing history.
• What we keep: a record that a domain was looked up and the resulting score, used to operate the service and to apply fair-use limits. We do not store your IP address and we do not link lookups to you.
• What it stores on your device: recent results, in the extension's own local storage, so re-opening it does not repeat a lookup. Nothing is synced anywhere.
• No accounts, no tracking: the extension has no sign-in, no analytics, and no third-party scripts. Uninstalling it removes everything it stored.

Data Retention

We retain contact information only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or maintain an active client relationship. Google Analytics keeps visit-level data for 14 months.

Business and financial records created in the course of an engagement, such as client contact details on invoices and statutory tax identifiers of vendors, are retained for as long as applicable tax and accounting law requires (generally up to eight years from the end of the relevant financial year), after which they are deleted. Prospect contact details that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

• The right to access data we hold about you
• The right to request correction or deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of analytics tracking
• The right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

Where the data protection law that applies to you grants further rights, including the right to access, correct and erase your personal data and the right to raise a grievance, we honour them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Terms of Service

Who We Are

zrev.ai and the tools described below are operated by zRev Solutions ("zRev", "we", "us"). These terms apply to your use of the website, the free tools, and any content we publish. Consulting engagements are governed by their own written agreement, which takes precedence over these terms for that work.

The Free Tools

We provide several tools at no charge and without an account: the llms.txt generator and grader, our browser extension, the public MCP server, the Ask zRev assistant, the ROI calculator, the GTM Leak Detector, and the downloadable checklists.

• Provided as-is: they are offered for general information and convenience. We do not guarantee that they will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw them at any time.
• Automated readings, not advice: scores, grades, cold reads, generated files, and assistant answers are produced by software, some of it using AI models, from publicly available pages. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are not professional, legal, financial, or tax advice, and you use them at your own judgment.
• Fair use: the tools carry fair-use limits per network address. Do not scrape, bulk-query, resell, or attempt to circumvent these limits, and do not use the tools to probe, overload, or interfere with any site, including ours.
• Your inputs: when you submit a domain, a question, or a file, you confirm you are entitled to do so. We may log inputs to operate and improve the tools as described in the Privacy Policy above.

Content and Intellectual Property

Third-party names and logos that appear on the site (for example HubSpot, Salesforce, OpenAI, Anthropic, Clay, ZoomInfo, HeyGen and Fathom) belong to their respective owners. They identify tools we implement or integrate for clients and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership.

The text, design, illustrations, checklists, carousels, the extension, and the code behind the tools are owned by zRev or used under license. You may read, download, and share our public content for your own use with attribution to zRev. You may not republish it as your own, remove attribution, or use it to train or fine-tune models for commercial resale without permission. Files you generate with the tools, such as an llms.txt for your own site, are yours to use freely.

Third-Party Services

Some features link to or rely on services we do not control, including Calendly for booking calls, LinkedIn, and the AI model providers behind the assistant. Their terms apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and free tools are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. zRev will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of revenue, profit, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or the free tools. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website or tools for anything unlawful, to misrepresent your identity or affiliation, to submit content you do not have rights to, or to attempt unauthorised access to any system. We may restrict or block access from any source that breaches these terms, without notice.

Changes

We may update these terms as the tools evolve. The date above tells you when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at zRev's registered place of business.
